Trucking company owners sentenced for falsifying DVIRs, more

A recent report highlights several enforcement actions in the trucking industry, including the arrest of a truck driver for falsifying a medical certificate and the sentencing of trucking company owners for falsifying Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs).

Trucker John Kamau, of Lowell, Massachusetts, was charged Sept. 24 and arrested the next day for allegedly making a false statement on a DOT Medical Examination Report Form.
